The Football and Netball Sections each held our respective AGM on Monday 17^th November.  They were a bit later than normal this year because executive office holders had been away overseas following the completion of the GFNL season.

In line with normal practice, the Chairman, Treasurer and Manager of Junior Programs each tabled reports on the season and offered those members in attendance an opportunity to ask questions. Then all positions were declared vacant and nominations declared for the office holders and committee members for 2026. The committee will be substantially the same as that for 2025, with a small number of retirements and some new volunteers stepping up.

• Vice-Chair: David Lindorff (returned)
• Secretary: Leah Morrow (returned)
• Treasurer: Melissa Ryan (new)
• Manager of Junior Programs: John Shehadie (returned)

General Committee:

• Jason Van Doren, Louise Spoors, Karen Lindorff, Justine Beekmans, Nick Flack, Mark Kelly, Melissa Verity, Matt Howe (all returned)
• Emma Jarosinski, Natalie Faull, Matt Chambers, Charmaine Rolls (all new)

The Football Section offers its sincere thanks to Steve Reynolds on his retirement, for his dedication and support over 9 years in the Treasurers role. Steve proved a dependable and steady hand, and leaves with our best wishes. We also thank Josh Fulton for his 2 years on the general committee as Senior Men’s Football Co-ordinator and a member of the social sub-committee. We also welcome our new committee members, thank them for joining and wish them well with their participation.

In other news, preparations continue for the 2026 season, with several squads having commenced pre-season training. Note that registrations are now open for all players.
