The name "COOK" has been allocated to one of our junior teams

Roy Cook, alongside Jack Gillett, is responsible for establishing our first under 18s team back in 1958. Roy donated the first Under 18 Best & Fairest trophy and continued to do so until his passing in 2008. At that time, it became known as the "Roy Cook Memorial". Roy spent many years on the Lara Football Club committee, with 11 of those years filling the role as treasurer. Roy also became a trainer for both the Seniors and Juniors. He was awarded the honour of becoming Life Member of the Lara Sporting Club

Rose Cook was a tireless worker for the Lara Football Club during the 1950's and 60's where she would wash and dry the playing jumpers every week and was part of the Ladies Auxiliary that would serve afternoon tea and contribute to social events

Reg Cook played over 200 games for Lara and spent many years on the Committee fulfilling the roles of secretary and treasurer. As his father did, Reg took on the role of trainer for Seniors and the Under 18s. He is a life meber of the Lara Sporting Club and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017

Cheryl Cook served on the Ladies committee for many years as well as being President for a period of time. She was also in charge of the canteen for many years. Cheryl recieved LSC Life Membership in 1987
