TEAM KOL

One of our junior teams has been named after Michael and Nigel Kol, who are twin brothers. Both Michael and Nigel played all of their junior football at Lara before being selected to play with Geelong in the VFL

Michael enjoyed a 63 game career at Geelong from 1983-1987 and then again in 1989. He was a forward player and kicked 42 goals. Michael won the Gardiner Medal(VFL Reserves League Best & Fairest) in 1989

Nigel began his VFL career at Geelong in 1983 and played 2 games for the Cats. He then moved to Melbourne where he played 28 games between 1985 and 1987
