Australian Sailing Number & SailPass

Q1: What is an Australian Sailing (AS) Number?
An Australian Sailing Number is a unique identification number for members of registered sailing clubs in Australia. It gives access to national sailing resources, courses, and competition entries.

Q2: How can I find my Australian Sailing Number?
You can use the AS Number Finder available on the Australian Sailing website.
Note: This is only available if you are a member of a other Australian Sailing registered sailing club,

Q3: I am a member of DSQ. Will I get an Australian Sailing Number?
No. DSQ (Deaf Sailing Queensland) does not issue Australian Sailing Numbers.

Q4: Can DSQ help me with sailing events that require an Australian Sailing Number?
Yes! While DSQ does not issue AS Numbers, we can assist you in obtaining a temporary SailPass, which allows you to participate in regattas and special events organised by other sailing clubs.

Q5: What is a SailPass?
A SailPass is a temporary membership or event pass offered by sailing clubs for participants who are not full club members. It provides insurance coverage and meets Australian Sailing requirements for the event organised by other sailing clubs.
