What an Incredible Weekend at the 2026 NPR SC Series!

The 2026 NPR SC Series has come to a close, marking another fantastic weekend of junior water polo on the Sunshine Coast. Over three days, teams from across Brisbane Metro, the Sunshine Coast and New Zealand came together to compete in a tournament that showcased outstanding skill, determination, sportsmanship and teamwork. From the opening whistle to the final presentations, the atmosphere around the pool reflected everything that makes our sport so special.

Planning Underway for the 2026 NPR SC Series

Planning is well underway for the 2026 NPR SC Series, with the Sunshine Coast set to welcome junior water polo athletes from across Queensland and New Zealand for another unforgettable winter tournament. Following the event's recognition as the 2025 Sunshine Coast Sports Event of the Year, the SC Series returns bigger and better from 10–12 July 2026 on the Sunshine Coast.

Breakers Dominate at Queensland Junior Country Championships on the Gold Coast

The 2024 Queensland Junior Country Championships, held from 5–7 December on the Gold Coast, delivered three days of high-level competition, perfect weather, and an impressive showcase of rising regional talent. This year, Breakers Water Polo made their mark across the tournament, completing a clean sweep of the girls’ divisions and securing podium finishes in nearly every age group.
