Planning is well underway for the 2026 NPR SC Series, with the Sunshine Coast set to welcome junior water polo athletes from across Queensland and New Zealand for another unforgettable winter tournament.

Following the event's recognition as the 2025 Sunshine Coast Sports Event of the Year, the SC Series returns bigger and better from 10–12 July 2026 on the Sunshine Coast.

What started as a regional development tournament has quickly become one of the most anticipated junior water polo events on the calendar, bringing together athletes, coaches, officials and families for three days of high-quality competition, connection and fun.

The 2026 event will again feature teams from regional and metropolitan Queensland, alongside visiting international teams, with additional age groups being introduced this year to provide even more opportunities for young athletes to participate.

Players can look forward to:

• Competitive, well-run matches

• A vibrant tournament atmosphere

• Opportunities to meet athletes from other regions and countries

• Three days of water polo on the Sunshine Coast during Queensland's best time of year

The event is proudly supported by Northern Pump Rentals (NPR),  the Sunshine Coast Council Grants Program and delivered by Breakers Water Polo Club with the support of volunteers, officials and the wider water polo community.

With nominations already attracting strong interest, teams and individual players are encouraged to save the date and start planning now.
