Breakers Launch EOFY Appeal to Create Opportunities for the Next Generation

Breakers Water Polo has launched its 2026 EOFY Appeal, with a goal of raising $10,000 to support athlete development and create opportunities for current and future members.

As a volunteer-run club, Breakers is committed to providing quality coaching, development opportunities and positive sporting experiences for athletes of all ages and abilities. From young players learning the fundamentals of water polo for the first time, through to athletes pursuing representative, national and university opportunities, our focus remains on helping every athlete reach their potential.

Funds raised through this appeal will help support specialist coaching clinics, junior development programs, training equipment and athlete pathway opportunities. Importantly, the appeal will also assist the club in keeping participation as affordable as possible for local families.

Sport provides much more than competition. It builds confidence, resilience, teamwork and lifelong friendships. Through water polo, young athletes learn valuable life skills while developing a healthy and active lifestyle.

This EOFY, we are asking our community to help us continue creating these opportunities.

All donations are made through the Australian Sports Foundation and are tax deductible, making EOFY an ideal time to support community sport while receiving a tax benefit.
