Who can join URGQ?
URGQ welcomes divers and non-divers with all levels of experience, from any dive training organisation.
Who can dive off the club boat?
URGQ members who are qualified divers are able to dive from our club boat.
Where does URGQ meet?
URGQ meets every Wednesday night from 7:30pm onwards at our club house which is located at 24 Pulle St, Yeerongpillly, Brisbane.
Can I learn to dive with the club?
No, unfortunately the club does not offer any commercial dive courses. However, URGQ promotes safe diving and knows the best training comes through diving experience. We have many experienced divers with Instructor and Dive Master qualifications, who are happy to share their knowledge and skills to assist other members.
Which certification agencies do you recognise?

How do I make a payment for dive trips or membership fees?

Do you hire out dive tanks?
Yes, URGQ has aluminium tanks for members to hire. Please speak to the canteen officer on a Wednesday night for more information.
How do I know what dive trips are available?
Upcoming dives are listed on the Events page and advertised by email to members.
How much does it cost to dive with URGQ?
All costs related to diving, tank fills and tank hire can be viewed on the Costs page.
Who can operate the club compressors?
Only approved Compressor Operators can use the compressors. If you would like to train for this position, please discuss this with the Management Committee. Click on the links below to see Compressor Operators Lists.
