Underwater Research Group of Queensland

New members are always welcome!

We are a scuba diving club based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The URGQ, as we are more commonly known, is a non-profit recreational club so the emphasis is heavily on enjoyment.

We aim to provide a forum for divers to meet socially on a regular basis, and provide an alternative to the commercial diving environment to further the diving interests and social activities of its members.

Over one thousand members, of all ages and experience, have participated in URGQ diving and social activities since the club was established in 1954.

Come on down and check us out on any Wednesday night, and meet your next best diving buddy.
