Riot Games Nautilus Statue

Riot Games Nautilus Statue

As part of a competition for 'Ocean Week', Riot Games with their game "League of Legends" has created an artificial reef based on one of their game characters. Over 42,000 players completed the competition with enough points to have their name (well, gamer tags) carved on the reef statue.

In conjunction with the URGQ, Riot Games sunk this statue just east of the 'Rock Driller' wreck, on the southern end of Curtin Artificial Reef in Moreton Bay, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The statue can be found at (WGS84) 27° 6.724'S 153° 21.888'E

You can read more about it here in the Riot Games news release.  Find more about the creators of the statue, Reef Design Labs, here.
