Melges rule (if you ignore the visiting Somers Contenders) with Simon 'the Admiral' Webster coming first in the heat 3 on handicap, and Derek 'Bradbury' Hollander second, with the position reversed in heat 4. Martin Corden came third in heat 3, with Karen Buckingham third in heat 4.

But more importantly both Martin Corden and Matthew Darby were trounced by the Commodore on yardstick (and yes, Matt - that makes us even - each beating the other three times so far this season). And in a healthy fleet of 13 boats, Tom Clarke came third on yardstick in heat 3 (and fourth in heat 4), but 9th on handicap in both races so should be reconsidering giving up the handicapper role.

This year's handicapper (and coincidentally current club champion) complimented the Tower Team on the neat handwriting this week - was that Fran or Richard Jagger?? And thanks to Team Wilcox for keeping an eye on us out on the water.
