Stage 2 – Start Sailing
Our Start Sailing group is for kids who want to continue the thrill of sailing after their Try Sailing experience. You will now join the club as a Junior Member. This membership is inclusive of all Saturday training sessions during the sailing season as you progress through our Junior Sailing Program on your way to becoming a confident sailor.
The Start Sailing stage of our program is delivered in small groups by an Australian Sailing qualified Instructor and Assistant Instructors. The curriculum delivers the “Start Sailing 1” and “Start Sailing 2” components of Australian Sailings “Discover Sailing” program. Kids will learn the fundamentals of sailing in our Quest dinghies.
