Prepare To Race

Stage 4 – Race Prep

http://www.sqsa.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/DSC_0071.jpg Race Prep is for kids who have completed the Better Sailing course and have bought their first boat – a Sabot dinghy for juniors or a Laser for teens. It is the transitionary level between learn to sail programs and ongoing participation in club racing.

Race Prep is supervised by our Club Coach and is a combination of games / fun based sailing and "novice" racing. For example some time might be spent sailing to a destination (e.g. a permanent mark) and some time might be spent sailing around a course.

When Race Prep sessions are held on Friday afternoons during the sailing season from Sept to April.
