I am organising a trip to Ternate in Sulawesi Indonesia , which is a 1 hour flight due east of Manado.

March 8th - 19th, 2027
15 dives and last day tour of the island.

Ternate is a rather small (mainly Muslim) Island , but densely populated with a lot of sights to see above ground as well as below the waters.  Thus reflecting its turbulent history with the Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch. Ternate is part of the spice group islands where you will find the plantations of nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves. Which gives you some culinary delights of special spiced coffees to ice cream.

The itinerary is to fly out of Brisbane via Singapore to Manado and stay overnight in Manado before flying to Ternate the next day. Then the diving will begin on that day.
The approximate cost for this trip is around the following : $1300 flights with Singapore and Scoot Airlines, Flight from Brisbane-Manado-Brisbane return.
Manado to Ternate Return $250 (20kg weight allowance, extra kg for high cost).
Hotels Manado and Ternate  accommodations $400 - $500 per person ( 1 night Manado and 9 nights Ternate)
Diving $1270 ( 15,600,000 IDR)
Totalling around the $3300 -$3500 mark

I will organise or help people book their flights (in case you may want to use your credit card for travel insurance ). Book the hotels and transfers where required.

This trip is based on equal share of costings for accommodation (twin share, be aware you may require to share with another male or female ), transfers and any fees for international transactions.
I have already booked my flights and they look pretty busy due to Singapore becoming a popular hub to avoid flying via the Middle East. I recommend getting these flights sorted as soon as possible.
