Hi All!

I am excited to organise a trip on Diver 1 for this Saturday, the 13th of June, to our local coral reef gem, sitting just north of Moreton Island - Flinders Reef.

Tide times - Comboyuro Point.

High Tide: 08:30 AM 2.0M

Low Tide: 12:45 PM 0.2M

A very low tide in the middle of the day means that behind the reef will be quite pleasant for the dives and surface intervals.

Flinders-Reef is a small, isolated reef north-west of Moreton Island. It has the highest number of coral species of any sub-tropical reef system along Australia's east coast. With hundreds of species of tropical fish, an array of hard and soft corals, grey nurse sharks and humpback whales in winter, and the famous Turtle Cleaning Station in only 2-5m of water, it is one of Queensland's most popular open water level dive sites.

Costs are divided amongst the participants,

- Fuel costs (boat fuel)

- 2 Dive Tickets for 2 dives ($30/single dive paying on the day or $25 per dive with prepurchased dive cards)
