Hi divers!  

Join us for a shore dive at Gold Coast Seaway this Sunday the 15th of June, 2025.  Meet at the seaway at 0920 for a ~0945 entry. High tide is 10:47am.

The current plan is to jump in a bit earlier than usual and drift with the current. We will be jumping in at the 'Main' stairs ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/HRAgTPe3NPWvwJZs7 ) then catching the incomming tide for a ride. The plan is to either exit at the western steps, and walk the ~350m back to the cars, or ride the tide change (if people have enough air) catch a slight outgoing tide and pop back out at the main stairs. If we miss the west stairs, we'll end up at the beach entry for a ~750m walk back to the cars. (Could ditch the gear there with someone and collect the car and drive closer to the gear.) This will be a shallower dive with a lot of time around the 5-10m mark, generally closer to 5m... 

For those who would enjoy a more traditional 'Slack Tide' dive (along the pipes etc) I would suggest being ready to hop into the water around 1040. Middle of the pipes can get closer to ~20m deep.

Shore dive, so no cost... well only the cost of an Air Fill! If you'd like to hire a club tank there is currently some available ($10 hire fee) 

Post dive some of us will probably hit up a fish n' chip shop for lunch, I like Peters Fish Market ( https://maps.app.goo.gl/vvks5pqWeKrMNohW9 ) but can be swayed to go elsewhere.
