Welcome!

Port Kembla Sailing Club is a vibrant and active volunteer sailing and social club on the northern shores of Lake Illawarra ('pleasant place by the sea'). We boast an expansive clubhouse with canteen, bar, large rigging area, easy parking, sandy beach, hot showers, a close-by launching ramp for TYs, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. 

As an Australian Sailing accredited Discover Sailing Centre, we offer sailing activities for all ages as well as learn-to-sail for juniors and adults. The club conducts Saturday mornings for juniors and afternoon club racing, as well as hosting State and National level championship regattas. Our signature regatta is Sail Illawarra (incorporating the Kembla Klassic), last weekend of November.

We acknowledge the traditional owners of the Dharawal land and waters upon which we sail and pay our respects to elders past and present.
