* Note: The purpose of SailPass Guest is to enable and encourage someone who is without an Australian Sailing (AS) membership number ie. they are new to the sport, or a friend or family member for example, who is interested in giving sailing a try. SailPass provides them with AS insurance cover whilst on the water.
A Visitor Sailor, on the other hand, is someone who belongs to/usually sails with another club or has their own boat. Visitor Sailors can register and pay online beforehand. Alternatively, you can pay the $15 fee (per boat) at the canteen prior to racing and submit a Guest SailPass, otherwise you are not covered by AS insurance. The $15 race fee applies regardless.
