Port Kembla Sailing Club Co-operative Ltd is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit community sport club.

The club is accredited by Australian Sailing as a Discover Sailing Centre, offering recognised learn-to-sail courses for adults and children. A full description of the programs offered can be found here.
The Objects of the Association (from the Constitution) are to:
(a) promote the sport of sailing, together with good fellowship and sportsmanship among members.
(b) promote and conduct championships, regattas, races and training in sailing, seamanship, navigation and rescue.
(c) organise and conduct sporting events, trials and competitions, and to award prizes and distinctions.
(d) foster and promote literary, sporting, athletic, social and other lawful activities among members.
(e) cooperate in the purchase and provision of boats, equipment, goods and merchandise required for the activities of members.
(f) provide, develop and maintain buildings, grounds and facilities, including those associated with a sailing club.
(g) cooperate with any organisation, club or body having objects similar to those of the Association, where such cooperation advances the Association’s objects or the interests of its members.
(h) operate and manage a club for the purpose of providing accommodation and amenities for members and their guests.
(i) enter into arrangements with any organisation, body or institution that may promote or assist in achieving the Association’s objects.
