We enter women's fastpitch teams across competitive and social grades. New and returning players of all skill levels are welcome.
Games are played on Saturday afternoons at Hawker International Softball Centre.
The draw for each grade is published on the Softball ACT website when the season begins.
Our B Grade Whirlwinds compete in the Premier League. The team includes experienced players of all ages, including our junior state representatives.
Our C Grade Skyhawks and D Grade Angels compete in the Community League, playing in a supportive environment that's focused on developing skills and enjoying the social side of softball.
Softball ACT runs a Fastpitch A League on Wednesday nights for A Grade players. To enter a team with Hurricanes, email the club at hurricanessoftball@outlook.com before Tuesday 25 August, and before you register.
Masters tournaments: Hurricanes enters women's Masters competitions in the ACT and around Australia. Keep an eye on our social media for upcoming tournaments, or contact our Masters Coordinator at hurricanessoftball@outlook.com.
Skins tournament: Our Blackbirds compete in the annual SACT Women's Skins Tournament, held over 3 days each November. Teams from across Australia play a graded round robin, with prize money for winning innings and games. The teams that win the most money go on to play in the final for a bonus cash prize.
