We're looking to gauge player interest in participating in a NEW Social V-Ball Competition, starting Wednesday 14 October 2026 at the Hawker International Softball Centre.
Looking for a fun, relaxed and social way to stay involved in softball over Term 4? Gather your friends, family, teammates, work colleagues or fellow club members and join us for Softball ACT's exciting new V-Ball competition.
Designed with enjoyment and participation in mind, V-Ball is a modified version of softball that keeps everyone involved in the action. With smaller teams and more opportunities to bat, field and make plays, it's the perfect format for both experienced players and those completely new to the game.

While the focus is on fun, participation and social connection, there are still some great rewards available:
This competition will replace the usual Social Bash during Term 4 and promises to be a fantastic way to stay active, meet new people and enjoy softball in a fun and inclusive environment.
At this stage, we're simply seeking Expressions of Interest to help us determine player numbers and team nominations.
📢Interested? Please register your interest and let us know you'd like to participate. Feel free to invite friends, family members or colleagues who may be interested in joining as well.
Whether you're a seasoned softballer or have never picked up a glove before, we'd love to see you involved!
🥎Register your interest today and help us bring a strong Hurricanes presence to the competition!
We look forward to hearing from you.
