Be part of the action and LET's PLAY! We welcome people living with a disability or limited mobility of all ages and all abilities to try badminton! Family, friends, supporters, carers, guardians and allies are welcome.

  • NDIS friendly
  • Coaching available for new and beginner players
  • Lightweight racquets and shuttlecocks provided
  • Standing and wheelchair participation welcomed
  • Invite family, friends, guardians, carers and supporters

Sessions will run every Wednesday at 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Springers Leisure Centre (400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough VIC 3173)

Cost: $5 per person, per session (to be paid upon online registration)

COVID-19: All players, parents, guardians, officials, coaches, event staff and spectators aged 16 years and older attending the session must be fully vaccinated from COVID-19, or have a medical exemption as specified by the State Government of Victoria. Entry into the venue will be denied to anyone who cannot show valid proof. If there is any change to this before the tournament, we will advise you as soon as possible. Restrictions and guidelines for badminton and indoor community sport will be adhered to. More information can be found here: badmintonvic.com.au/covid-19

Travelling to Springers Leisure Centre

Here's where we are playing and a step-by-step look at how to get to the Badminton Stadium at Springers Leisure Centre:

We will meet you at the couches at the Springers Leisure Centre reception before the session starts:

Springers Leisure Centre is conveniently located at 400 Cheltenham Road, Keysborough.

Please note that the building is a few hundred metres away from the main road.

Public Transport

If you're taking public transport, buses 812 and 828 stop near the centre on Cheltenham Road.

Car Drop-off

An accessible drop-off point is available at the roundabout in front of the building.

  1. To get there, please take the first (1st) exit (COVID-testing entrance) when you approach the first (1st) roundabout.

  2. At the second (2nd) roundabout, pass the first (1st) exit (COVID-testing entrance) to take the second (2nd) exit to turn right on to Keysborough Road.

  3. You will then approach the drop-off point in front of the venue and you will not reach the COVID-test site in the parking lot:

Driving by Car

Plenty of free parking is also available on site.

  1. When you approach the first roundabout, please pass the first (1st) exit (COVID-testing entrance) to take the second (2nd) exit that will roughly take you straight and towards the right-side of the building. You will first approach the gravel parking lot:
  2. More accessible parking, including 3 allocated spots, is available on the other side of the building. To get there, continue down the road and around the football field behind the building. You will eventually arrive at the left side of the building where the paved car park is:
