Beyond Bank Junior Classics

Entries now open for the 2026 Beyond Bank Junior Classic series

Badminton Victoria has identified the need for a stronger pathway for junior players in regional Victoria. Currently, many young players do not have enough competition opportunities to develop tournament experience.

To address this, BV has introduced a junior country player pathway, with the Beyond Bank Junior Classic tournaments playing a key role in this strategy.

The Beyond Bank Junior Classics give regional players the chance to compete in a local tournament environment and gain valuable experience. These events are open only to players from regional Victoria.

BV will work with regional clubs to host these tournaments and build local capacity for future competitions.

The Beyond Bank Junior Classics will also allow talent selectors to identify players for BV Junior Teams in the Under 13 and Under 17 categories. Selected players may be chosen to represent the Victorian Country Team at the National Championships, subject to approval from Badminton Australia.
