Beyond Bank Junior Classics

Entries are now open for the Beyond Bank Junior Classics!

BV has identified a strong need to provide a pathway for junior players in regional Victoria. At present, talent is going undeveloped as young players are not exposed to enough competition to foster tournament experience. We've addressed this gap by creating a new junior country player pathway, and our Beyond Bank Junior Classic tournaments are a key part of the strategy.

The Beyond Bank Junior Classics are designed to provide a great opportunity for players to enter a local tournament and focus on creating a positive impression. Only players from regional Victoria can enter

BV will support regional clubs to host these events and build capacity for further competition in the future.

The Beyond Bank Junior Classics will also provide an opportunity for our talent selectors to identify players to form teams to compete in the BV Junior Teams event, in the Under 13 and Under 17 categories. Players competing at this event will also be selected for a Victorian Country Team. This team will compete at the National Championships, subject to approval from Badminton Australia.
