Apologies again to all teams for the unfortunate need to cancel the Spring Regatta on the day, due to the cold weather and significant chill factor.

Here is how it should have panned out:

Teams arrived from 8am, race briefing was at 9am, and first race at 9:30am. There were 28 races, at about 10 minute intervals (and a bit of a Bun Fight while teams organise the Mix and Match) this should mean a finish at about 14:30 to 3 pm.

• Teams were "Small Boat" crews (10 paddlers) but in Standard Boats, three-boats to a race (except 4 boats in the Mixed Grand Final).
• Caller/Drummer is not mandatory.
• All racing will be over the 250 metre sprint distance, with two heats, then Finals for the last race of the day.
• Heats scoring is based on 3 points for first across the line, 2 points for second, 1 point for 3rd. 

Mix and Mingle: We will also ran two 250m races where we have a random mix of paddlers from each team coming together in a team to race. For these we had about 16 paddlers per boat, randomly selected from all teams.
