April Fools day racing was a day for fools

In an exciting day of racing for fools the fleet was naturally dominated by Laser sailors who demonstrated their swimming if not sailing skills. With 25 knot gusts, and then nearly being becalmed it was a day of contrasts.

Exciting weekend of sailing, although some shameful performances

The lasers and sabres dominated the fleet last weekend, with Matt Darby winning the first race and Sarah Porritt the second. Martin Corden delivered a consistent performance in both races, achieving 7th and 9th. Well done Martin.

His counsellor, coach and wingman Toby Rechner is reported to have described getting Mitch there as one of his hardest personnel management challenges ever, but one he is most proud of.
