SPONSORSHIP & COMMUNITY
| How can businesses sponsor Wombats Hockey Club? |
| Are there different sponsorship levels/packages available? |
- Yes – from small contributions to major partnerships, with clear benefits at each level.
| Can we contribute in-kind (goods/services) instead of cash? |
- Absolutely. Many local businesses support us with goods, services, or vouchers which are used for raffles, awards, and events.
| How much are Wombats asking for? |
- We offer flexible sponsorship packages ranging from small contributions to major sponsorships. We’re happy to work with your budget and tailor a package that suits your business.
| Is this a one-off or ongoing commitment? |
- It can be either, however, currently we are actively seeking sponsorship commitment for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
| Where does the sponsorship money go? |
- Sponsorship helps us keep membership fees affordable, cover equipment upgrades, and support junior and volunteer development. In 2026, for example, we plan to heavily reduce junior fees and refresh our training gear so players have safe, modern equipment.
| What benefits do sponsors receive? |
- Depending on your package, benefits can include:
- Your logo on apparel, equipment, signage, or our website
- Social media promotion to our growing community
- Recognition at club events
- Strong local community exposure.
| Is there room for us to get involved? |
- Definitely! We welcome sponsor participation at presentation days, events, and even the opportunity to present trophies or run stalls.
| How often will our brand be visible? |
- Multipe times a week during the regular season on both digital and physical media. Your brand will also be visible across training and game days, as well as at events, tournaments, and year-round on digital platforms.
| Can we get exclusivity in our industry? |
- Yes, we can offer category exclusivity so you’re the only business of your type sponsoring our club.
| How many members/players do you have? |
- We currently have around 200 players and members across junior and senior teams, plus a strong support base of families and volunteers.
| What age groups do you cover? |
- We run teams from juniors through to seniors, with a strong focus on grassroots development for children from as young as 5.
