Eric's $hit Stirrers Award

The Stirrers Award is a Wombats award that was introduced in 1990. The award was created in honour of Eric Allerdice. Eric owned a business called Essential Builders Aids and it supplied Port-a-loos, among other trade items. One year, Eric's advertising efforts resulted in a photo of him sitting on one of his Port-a-loos and it made the front page of the Border Mail (a copy of which is on the actual award). The current trophy replaced the original in 2008 and the copy of the photo of Eric was moved to the new board.
