Where does sponsorship funding go?

The generous support of our sponsors helps Wombats Hockey Club keep membership fees affordable for families. Thanks to this backing, we’ve been able to offer free memberships to new juniors and are working towards reducing fees for all junior players in the future.

In 2026, we plan to invest in a major equipment upgrade to ensure our players can train with safe, modern, and high-quality gear.

As our club and the wider hockey community in Albury–Wodonga continues to grow, we are also looking to increase our access to field hire, giving every team the time and space they need to train effectively.

Each year, several Wombats earn selection for regional representative teams. Sponsorship helps us reduce the financial burden on these players by contributing towards their costs—allowing them to chase their dreams and take steps towards becoming future Hockeyroos and Kookaburras.

Our club also relies on the commitment of coaches, umpires, and volunteers. With sponsorship, we can invest in their development through clinics and training, as well as recognise and reward their invaluable contributions.
