Welcome to Cairns Athletics, we are a family orientated club providing participation in the sport of track and field. We aim to provide athletes of all ages with the opportunity to grow and develop through the sport of athletics. The club has its home base at Barlow Park.

The club provides members with well organised club events and carnivals, qualified coaching access and opportunities for athlete and volunteer development. We also provide other services to other clubs and schools throughout Cairns and regional districts.

Cairns Athletics' club nights are on Friday Nights starting at 5:30pm, running most Fridays in each school term. Starting at 4 years of age, age groups participate in a rotation of 5 events each night, with a drink and food break after the 3rd event. Age groups are as follows; 4-6 years, 7 years, 8 years, 9 years, 10 years, 11 years, and 12+.
