- Purpose: To provide clubs with the opportunity to to receive funding for equipment that may be used for the betterment of student experience.
- Available: Up to $500 per club

❌ Grant Guidelines and Eligibility
- Clubs must be an affiliated sports club to La Trobe University.
- Applications must go through the Revolutionise form provided.
- The application must clearly detail how the equipment purchased enhances student experience. The grant is designed to help clubs invest in essential items that:
- Address a clear and demonstrated need in the club
- Support the delivery of a specific project or initiative
- Assist with the club growth and engagement through recruitment events or promotional activities
- All equipment purchased must directly benefit La Trobe University students and contribute to the clubs development, sustainability, or participation outcomes.
- Funding is to be distributed after the club submits reporting, and funds have already been spent. Reporting not submitted means NO funding. Given the University finance deadlines, we cannot spend 2025 budget post this date.
- There is no maximum funding amount is $500 per club, one application per club. Should you apply for $250 in the first funding period, you cannot apply for $250 in the second funding period.
- All equipment purchased remains the property of La Trobe Sport.
- Clubs will not be eligible for funding if owing money through facility or other bookings.
Approved for funding
- Inclusion and accessibility resources: adaptive gear, beginner-friendly equipment, or items that help lower barriers to student participation.
- Training and performance equipment: balls, bibs, cones, hurdles, mats, weights, resistance bands, tackling pads, nets, goals, racquets, bats, or skipping ropes.
- Small-scale infrastructure: portable goals,
- Event and recruitment equipment: demo equipment (mini-tennis net, handball target)
Not approved for funding
- Personal items that benifits an individual rather than the club
- Uniform, playing kits, or merch for individual members
- Trophies, medals, prizes
- Food, beverage
- Venue hire, coaching fees
- Travel or accommodation expenses
- Equipment servicing, repair costs
- Large infrastructure or facility works
✅ Reporting
Tax receipts/ invoices must be uploaded via a grant reporting form, to be sent to the club upon successful application.
