2025 Membership prices

Our registration process has changed this year.

Parents/Guardians are to register themselves first

before they register their child.

All athletes who are 17 years or younger, a Parent/Guardian must register as a parent/guardian member first. This will cover you for insurance.

After registering as a Parent/Guardian, an email will be sent with a link to register all athletes. Please ensure you check your spam folder for this email.

If you have NOT registered as a Parent/Guardian previously, you will need to register yourself as a new member before you register your child.

All membership includes the following:

• Personal Insurance.
• Free access to Club Days and Club coaching.
• Member of Athletics North Queensland, Queensland Athletics, Queensland Masters Athletics, Athletics Australia.

Registration Costs for the 2025 season are as follows:

4-6 years $170 
7-9 years $235 
10-29 years $265 
Masters 30+ $170 
Base 12+ $170

Coaches, Officials, Committee Members and all parent volunteers are required to register free of charge with ANQ as a volunteer so that you are covered by insurance.

All parents and volunteers who are assisting with age groups where their child is not participating are to register for a Blue Card.  https://my.bluecard.qld.gov.au/login

There are no weekly fees collected on Club Day after Registration is complete. All fees include registration with Cairns Athletics and Athletics North Queensland. Membership allows participation at ANQ sanctioned events and carnivals throughout Queensland and Australia (at an additional meet registration cost).

Registration is valid until 28 February 2026.

HERE ARE SOME STEPS TO HELP YOU ALONG WITH THE REGISTRATION PROCESS

2. Scroll to New Member or existing member - ** PARENTS, this is your name as the PARENT GUARDIAN  ** choose the suitable one. 
    If you have not registered yourself as a PARENT GUARDIAN before, you will be a new member.
3. Fill out form - choose Parent/Guardian (unless registering as an 18 years to Masters athlete). 
4. When parent/guardian form is complete, you will then receive an email - this is where you click the link suitable (you need to scroll down to find these options)

   - 2025  4 - 6 Years (DOB 2019 - 2021)
   - 2025  7 - 9 Years (DOB 2016 - 2018)
   - 2025  10 - 17 Years (DOB 2008 - 2015)
   - 2024  18-29 years (DOB 1996-2007)
   - 2024  30+ years (DOB 1995 and earlier)

Membership Includes:

• 4-6 years  $170 Includes: Affiliation fee paid to Athletics North Queensland $70 End of year trophy $15 Access to all age appropriate training sessions Access to all Friday night Club Nights (20 nights booked in 2025) Contribution towards Barlow Park hire fee (Annual Cost to Cairns Athletics is $24,176 , $1208 per night) Access to the any ANQ, QA and AA carnivals which require a full club membership, which includes the NQ Champs

  Masters 30+ years $170 Includes: Affiliation fee paid to Athletics North Queensland $99 End of year acknowledgment $20 Access to all Friday night Club Nights (20 nights booked in 2025) Contribution towards Barlow Park hire fee (Annual Cost to Cairns Athletics is $24,176 , $1208 per night) Access to the any ANQ, QA, QMA, and AA carnivals which require a full club membership, which includes the NQ Champs

  12+ Cairns Base Membership $170       Includes: Affiliation fee paid to Athletics North Queensland $99 Access to 2 Friday night Club Nights *additional club nights attended as a visitor $15 Access to the any ANQ, QA and AA carnivals which require a full club membership, which includes the NQ Champs No club participation points or PBs recorded for end of year awards Contribution towards Barlow Park hire fee (Annual Cost to Cairns Athletics is $24,176 , $1208 per night) If Base Members want to wear their training squad uniform at local Carnivals they can do so but must register for Carnivals as an “independent athlete”. Note, NQ Champs require competitors to wear the club uniform that they are affiliated with.

If you are a returning member and you have not already registered through RevSport and been given a National Member ID, you will need to select REGISTER to register as a new member. Registration is open now.

For those returning members already registered with RevSport you will need to select RENEW to renew your membership. If you do not remember your National Member ID, please email enquiries@cairnsathletics.org.au.

New members joining for the very first time must provide a copy of their birth certificate for the club to sight. This is a once-off for athletes who have never been a member of Cairns Athletics Club. If registering online, please email birth certificates to enquiries@cairnsathletics.org.au.

Fair Play Vouchers - Updated 1/7/2024

Cairns Athletics accepts Fair Play vouchers for the 2025 season. As from 1 July 2024, the Fair Play Voucher has been increased to $200.00.  To use this voucher for membership, please follow the below instructions:

• Athlete 4-6 Years register as a 2025 Member – Fair Play Voucher 4-6 years using our online membership system below. When attending your first club day, please hand in your voucher to the club's registrar at the start of the day. This ensures membership can be updated to an athlete class and pay no extra registration fee.  
• Athlete 7-9 Years register as a 2025 Member – Fair Play Voucher 7 – 9 years using our online membership system below. When attending your first club day, please hand in your voucher to the club's registrar at the start of the day. This ensure membership can be updated to an athlete class and an invoice will be sent for payment of $35. This is the difference between the voucher and the fees. Athletes will not be classed as full members until the voucher is submitted and additional invoice paid in full.
• Athletes 10 Years and above register as a 2024 Member - Fair Play Voucher 10 years and over using our online membership system below. When attending your first club day, please hand in your voucher to the club's registrar at the start of the day. This ensure membership can be updated to an athlete class and an invoice will be sent for payment of $65. This is the difference between the voucher and the fees. Athletes will not be classed as full members until the voucher is submitted and additional invoice paid in full.

Trial Days

Interested athletes (who are not previous members of an athletics club) have the option to “trial for two weeks” at a cost of $15.00 per club day (non-refundable). This is available for a two-week consecutive period during the first 6 weeks of the season. After the 2 week trial, Trials Members may then upgrade to the club's full membership status and the $30.00 already paid is deducted from the full membership total (via a discount code), otherwise they no longer participate. Upon payment of the full balance of membership, the full membership entitlements are available.  Athletes can only trial at a club day and must be a fully registered athlete to participate at training sessions. 

Results from the trial days will not be included in the athlete’s performance for the year. Results commence from the date full registration fees are received.
