Course content:

Includes:

The basics of sailing in dinghies ... to be done in ASC Pacers.
Leaving and returning to the beach safely.
How the sails work & setting them, balance, tacking, gybing, capsize (& recovery) including being towed.
Knots & rope handling
You will be getting wet!
Driving support boats in polys and tinnies, maneuvering, anchoring, laying a mark & organising a tow.
Wind/weather awareness and recognising how to stay safe.
