Avalon and BYRA Sailing Clubs welcome you to the inaugural Pittwater Classic Regatta!

Avalon Sailing Club is hosting the Yachts

BYRA is hosting the Dinghies

This is a regatta for the classics and will be a weekend full of sailing and socialising with events at both ASC & BYRA!

Saturday 2nd March will have 3 windward / leeward yacht races and 3 dinghy races around a triangle course, side by side in "the Pond" north of Scotland Island.

There will be a social event with food and drinks held at Avalon Sailing Club on Saturday evening with a boat service running to and from BYRA.

Sunday 3rd March will have a longer yacht race around Scotland & Lion islands and a mini marathon for DInghies around Scotland Island.

Prizes, drinks and snacks will follow racing on both days.

CAT 7 Certification

Avalon Sailing Club will provide a service for non-members who wish to attain the Category 7 certification required to comply with the Australian Racing Rules of Sailing for inshore races.

The service will be provided in 30 minute timeslots  on the 17^th & 24^th Feb at Avalon Sailing Club between 9am an 1pm.
