Where: Cashmere Club, 50 Colombo St, Cashmere, Christchurch.

Date: Saturday 7th of June 2025.

Time: Arrive 6:00pm, we will be getting underway at 7:00pm.

Tickets: $20 with a cash bar

What to wear: Semi formal.

Tickets & Attendance - we require team managers to provide us a list of those who are attending and collect payment. Aoraki will then charge the club for this. We will need each clubs attendance list no later than 24 May 2025. There will be no Cash or Door Sales.

There will be a cash bar for you to purchase drinks, and food is included in the ticket price (Apricot Glazed Ham with bread rolls, coleslaw, mustard, tomato sauce, mayonnaise with chips).

The evening will be an opportunity to celebrate the end of another successful season, but also to recognise and honour those teams and individuals who represent the best of our Aoraki Dragons community. So with that being said Nominations are open!

We now have your nominations for the various award categories. These are:

• Manager of the Year
• Coach of the Year
• Sportswoman of the Year
• Sportsman of the Year
• Most Improved Team of the Year
• Team of the Year
• School Team of the Year

The Awards Nomination Form includes a list of key attributes that we are looking for, in each category (summarised at RevSport Aoraki > About > Awards and honours). The achievements of the nominees are for the period of 1 May 2024 to 30 April 2025. 

Managers: to email the completed forms to aoraki.dragons@gmail.com THREE weeks before the Awards Night (that is, by 16 May 2025) – no late nominations will be considered.

This is your opportunity to showcase your team/club to the wider dragon boating community. The information you provide about your nominees will only enhance the awards experience for everyone involved.

Other Awards

Besides the above awards, the following will also be announced at the dinner:

• President’s Award will be awarded on the night by the President, Noel Anderton, as determined by him (only)
• Life Membership Award – will be selected by the Board as they see fit.
• Julian Yee Award - Awarded annually to the team that best represents the ideals of: sportsmanship, competitiveness and collegiality throughout the season

See last year's Awards night (Richmond Club). As per last year, we will run the AGM on the next day, so that out-of-town teams can attend both.
