Juniors Competition: TUESDAY NIGHT COMPETITION

Males & Females

Youngest teams play first

SHWP AGEGROUPS:

U16 – born in 2005 or 2006* 

U14 – born in 2007 or 2008* 

U12 – born in 2009 or 2010 or 2011* 

FlippaBall (NEW) – born after 2012 (if you have a child who may be interested in this activity, email us: shwp@outlook.com)

 

AGE GUIDELINES:

SHWP has adopted the WPNSW Guidelines for 'Playing Age Limits' see below for general guidance  (full policy attached)

  • Players are to play in an age relevant competition where possible
  • Players wishing to gain more experience and play at levels higher than their age group are not to play higher than two age divisions above their age grouping

Exemptions:

  • NSW State recognised players of suitable skill maybe provided an exemption upon application 
  • Australian recognised players of suitable skill maybe provided an exemption upon application

 

**For exemptions to the above, players must seek approval from SHWP board**

WPAG 1: All age group competitors remain qualified from 1 January to the following 31 December at their age at the close of day (12 midnight) on 31 December of the year of competition.

WAPG 2: Age grouping for Water Polo for boys and girls are as follows;

  • 15 and 16 years of age and under
  • 17 and 18 years of age and under
  • 19 and 20 years of age and under

**The age for Cadet, Youth and Junior World Championships is 16 years and under, 18 years and under and 20 years and under**
