NSDSA Northern Titans & Northern Storm Teams

In addition to the State Championships, Softball NSW hosts both Waratah League and State League to provide further development opportunities for our players. North Shore regularly enters a team in each league, these teams include:

2024 Northern Titans Team - Participating in Waratah League

Waratah League offers development opportunities for younger representative players, as well as older players outside of the State Teams Program, to continue to develop skills and game experience at a high level, with the potential to progress in the future to a position within the State League competition.

Key Information:

League Dates: Sunday 20 April through to 16 June 2024 (on various Sundays - to be advised)
Host: Softball NSW and various associations
Venue: Various including BISP, Stanhope Gardens, Kelso Park and Jacquie Osmond Reserve
EOI: Completed - 18 February 2024
Trials: Completed - Sunday 17 March 2024 at St. Ives

Eligibility:

To be eligible to nominate for Northern Titans at Waratah League, you must:

Be first registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club or another Association affiliated with Sofball NSW. If you are unsure, please contact your club or association registrar.
Be at least 14 years of age as at 31 December 2024
NOT have participated in an Under 18/19, 23&Under, Open and/or Over 35 National Championships in the previous 3 years ending 31 December 2024.

League Dates: Sunday 25 August to 24 November (not every week - dates to be advised)
Host: Softball NSW
Venue: BISP - Blacktown International Sportspark
EOI: Request for expressions of interest scheduled for 28 April 2024
Trials: Scheduled for 26 May 2024

To be eligible to nominate for Northern Storm at State League, you must:

Be first registered with a North Shore District Softball Association Club or another Association affiliated with Sofball NSW. If you are unsure, please contact your club or association registrar.
Be at least 16 years of age as at 31 December 2024.
