All members of our Association are bound by the Codes of Conduct of our national peak body Softball Australia (SA), as adopted by NSDSA and our peak body Softball NSW (SNSW).
Codes of Conduct exist for each role within our softball community, and we encourage you to be aware of each of these codes, who they apply to and who is responsible for upholding them. By participating in the North Shore competition, or representing North Shore, you are agreeing to abide by these codes of conduct. Failure to abide by these can result in disciplinary action by the North Shore committee.
All other relevant Softball Australia and Softball NSW policies can be found here
These codes were adopted on 13th March 2018, as agreed at NSDSA committee meeting held on that day.
The Association and its members - including all coaches, officials, players and spectators - are bound by and required to follow the Member Protection Policy of Softball Australia.
Please be aware that NSDSA has a Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) who is available to listen to a complaint and provide impartial and confidential support as you determine how you would like to proceed. The MPIO is not involved in the handling or resolution process beyond providing information and support to you. Our MPIO is currently Fiona Gow - you can contact Fiona via email: mpio@nsdsa.org.au
