Welcome to Manly Warringah Softball Association

We are located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and we are proud to be one of the largest and most vibrant softball communities in NSW.

Softball is an enjoyable and inclusive team sport that welcomes players of all ages and all skill levels. Girls and boys as young as 5 can play!

From teeball through to our senior competition, softball is a game where everyone gets involved. Every player has multiple opportunities to bat each game and experiences a variety of fielding positions, ensuring plenty of action, skill development and fun.

Our competition is played at one location Abbott Road Diamonds, Curl Curl making it extremely convenient for families. MWSA has a range of divisions and teams to accommodate everyone — from beginners to elite athletes, including Olympic and Aussie Spirit representatives.

BLUES UMPIRING MENTOR PROGRAM - Registrations Open

The Blues Umpiring Mentoring Program is back this season. Whether you're working towards your Level 1 Accreditation or simply looking to build your umpiring skills and confidence, we'd love you to get involved. This season, the program will run in three 4-week blocks:

Block 1: 24 & 31 October, 7 & 14 November 2026
Block 2: 21 & 28 November, 5 & 12 December 2026
Block 3: 30 January & 6 February, 13 & 20 February 2027

Please note: To achieve Level 1 Accreditation, you must be turning 13 during this season. Priority for mentor allocations will be given to these participants, but we encourage everyone interested in developing their umpiring knowledge and skills to join the program!

BLASTBALL BEGINS !!

The Perfect First Sporting Experience. Looking for a fun, active way to introduce your child to sport? Register your Preschooler or Kindergartner for FREE Blastball. BLASTBALL teaches preschool-aged girls and boys (aged 2 – 5) to develop fundamental movement, bat-and-ball and running skills in a fun, safe and supportive environment.

✔️ No experience required
✔️ No teams or competition
✔️ No personal equipment needed
✔️ All abilities are welcome
✔️ Just lots of fun, games, laughter and smiles

Every session is designed to keep children active, build confidence, develop coordination and encourage friendships while introducing the basics of Teeball through exciting games and activities.

BLASTBALL is run over 6 weeks – come to one session or join us for all six, all completely FREE.

Every Saturday morning from 9.00 to 9.45am starting 31 October through to 12 December 2026.

We have a fully stocked canteen (with slushie machine) and a Barista on site!

Slow Pitch Season Starting

Our next Mixed Slow Pitch season starts Friday 6 November through to Friday 4 December.

Games will be at either 6.30 – 7.30pm or 7.30 – 8.30pm

Cost is $75

The Senior Social Evening has been moved from November to Round 10, 12 December, at Abbott Road Diamonds where we are hoping all senior teams and any parents of junior teams can come together. Further details to follow but save the date … from 4pm until early evening.
