2026 Manly Junior Hockey Club Registrations are now OPEN!

Manly Junior Hockey is excited to offer a variety of hockey pathways with competitions and teams for all our awesome athletes with a focus on fun, friends and personal goals. Loads of details here to help with your registration, please read all the way to the bottom to register

2026 Date of Birth - Age Groups:

U8s – 2018 & 2019 (Minkey)
U10s – 2016 & 2017 (Local Super 6 comp)
U12s – 2014 & 2015 (Local Super 6 & North Area Comps)
U14s – 2012 & 2013 (Local Super 6 and Super League Comps & North Area Comps)
U16s – 2010 & 2011 (Local Super 6 and Super League Comps & North Area Comps)

The 2026 registration process will be similar to last year, but with a few improvements.

Club Registration

To simplify the process and to avoid the confusion of previous years, all players must sign up for a basic Manly Junior membership which covers Hockey Australia, Hockey NSW and NSB fees, automatic entry into the local WHA Super 6 or Super League Competition (Saturday mornings or Friday nights depending on age group) and Manly Junior club fees (which cover cost of equipment, pitch hire for training etc.).

Select Returning members at the bottom of this page if you have played before or New Member if you are new to our club.

If the player only intends to play in the local WHA (Super 6s or Super League) competitions, then this junior club membership is all that is required to play hockey this season!

North Area Nomination

If a player is interested in playing in the North Area competitions, a formal nomination must also be completed. This nomination can only be made once a player is registered as Manly Junior member.

Please use the below link to nominate for an U12, U14 or U16 North Area team in 2026 AFTER you have completed your Manly Juniors Club Registration. NOTE: You need to be lodgged in as the registerd player to complete this part.

Participation in the North Area competitions is for our more experienced players and requires an additional payment of $110 to cover the higher costs associated with entering teams in these competitions.

North Area Trials

Trials will be conducted in February with formal selections determining which players will be placed in the teams. The North Area teams will be structured as follows:

-          Performance Teams: these teams will include the highest ability players in the relevant age groups and will be entered in the Metro competitions.

-          Development Teams: these teams will include high-ability players who narrowly miss out on a Metro side and/or those who are identified as developing high-performers. These teams will be entered in the North Area competitions.

Please note that North Area teams have limits on the number of players we can sign up and there is no guarantee we will have enough nominations to enter teams in all age groups. Additionally, please note that nominating for a North Area team does not guarantee a place on a team. If a player nominates for a North Area team but is unsuccessful in being selected, the nomination fee will be refunded and the player will automatically remain entered in a local competition (Friday nights or Saturday mornings, depending on the players' age group).

• Fees are non-refundable for change of mind.

• Active Kids Voucher 2026: At this time Manly Junior HC is not an Active Kids Provider.

Our player fees include:

• Hockey Australia & Hockey NSW Fees
• Northern Sydney & Beaches Association Fees
• Competition fees (North Area / Metro/WHA where applicable)
• Turf hire fees for training and competitions
• Umpiring fees
• Admin and equipment costs including balls, cones, bibs, goalkeeper equipment, trophies etc
• Uniforms are an additional cost
