Mini Hockey ‘Minkey Academy’ – Term 1
Pre-season Minkey Academy training will be run on Sunday mornings from 11am - 12am, for 8 weeks from 8 February 2026 to 29 March 2026.
Registered players attending their first Minkey Academy session will be given (to keep) a new stick, shin pads, playing top and mouthguard.

This program is designed to introduce 5–8-year-olds into hockey in a fun and inclusive environment. Teaching them the basic skills of hockey and the importance of teamwork. All done right here on the Northern Beaches at the Sydney Academy of Sport (Narrabeen) on our all-weather hockey surface.
Minkey Competition - Term 2
Term 2, Minkey Competition played also at the Sydney Academy of Sport on Saturdays mornings. Same time same place, every Saturday - right here in your backyard.

Registrations NEVER close, so while some players won’t be able to commit just yet - get registered and get along when it suits. We want more players and families to join our hockey community.
Minkey players will be given a Minkey playing shirt on the first day of play. Manly Junior socks and shorts/skorts can be purchased via the online uniform shop (alternatively a bottle green skort or shorts from any local retailer is also acceptable)
