Super6 Local Comp (WHA)

Entering teams into the local Super 6 Competition run by Warringah Hockey Association, we place our junior players (9-18) into the latest small-sided version of hockey in town! Picture a small turf field with boards, rocking a mixed six-a-side team on a competitive half field, all through the winter season for a thrilling 17 weeks. Each team hustles with 5 field players and a goalie, making the game a perfect blend of strategy and skill. The side boards keep the ball in play, interruptions are minimal, and the excitement is off the charts. No hitting allowed, and the ball stays knee-high. It's the ultimate game for hockey newbies, as well as the seasoned youth and juniors.

And let's not forget our awesome beginners! For you we have the Minkey program, designed for little champs aged 5 to 8. It's all about learning, growing, and rocking those hockey skills in fun games on small fields. Boys and girls, let's score some goals and have a blast together!

Come join our pre-season programe:

TRAINING:
Training days and times are set by the individual coach of each team and we have access to Frank Gray fields for this.
We rely on parents to be involved as coaches and managers so all volunteers are welcome (and needed)!

Club training is also available to all players on Thursday nights at SYDNEY ACADEMY OF SPORT AND RECREATION (Narrabeen). Club training is a great way to learn basic hockey skills and develop your game play in a larger group setting.  Club training is run by WHA coaches and comes at no extra cost.  It is completely optional for teams/individuals to utilise this training, but we think it's an opportunity not to be missed.  We encourage all team coaches to jump in and help out during these sessions.
