Manly Junior players looking to be considered for a team in the U12, U14 or U16 North Area competitions (including Metro), must complete a nomination and pay the nomination fee to be eligible to attend trials. 

Trials will be held at the Sydney Academy of Sport (Narrabeen) on the following dates:

• Tuesday 17 February 2026
• Tuesday 24 February 2026
• Tuesday 3 March 2026 (this date will only be required if there are interuptions to the previous 2 dates caused by poor weather)

Trial times on each of the above dates will be as follows:

• U12s: 17:30 - 18:30
• U14s: 18:30 - 19:30
• U16s: 19:30 - 20:30

PLEASE NOTE: North Area teams have limits on the number of players we can sign up and there is no guarantee we will have enough nominations to enter teams in all age groups. The North Area competitions are for experienced hockey players only and not everyone who nominates and trials will be selected for a team. All players wishing to nominate for a North Area team MUST be registered as a Manly Junior first AND complete the North Area Nomination, including payment of the $110.00 nomination fee. If a player nominates for North Area and is unsuccessful in making a team, the nomination fee will be refunded and the player will automatically be entered into a local competition (Friday nights or Saturday mornings, depending on the player's age group).  

PLAYERS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TRIAL UNLESS THEY HAVE REGISTERED AS A MANLY JUNIOR AND COMPLETED A NORTH AREA NOMINATION (INCLUDING FEE PAYMENT).
