Shed Updates

It's a great time to share some updates on what’s happening around the Shed for all to enjoy and benefit from over the coming months:

2020/21 Membership Renewal

Further to last week's update on membership fees for 2020/21, we will be rolling over to the new membership year in the membership system in the next few days.  This means you will not be able to log in to the system until you have renewed your membership.

The club is re-opening on limited basis for trial 2 week reopening, beginning Wednesday 20 May. Please review the entire new article for the details.

While you're away - Work continues…

Even though the Club is closed to members it's not quiet - several members have taken the initiative to use the lack of foot traffic to upgrade some of the facilities.

Join the GRC Strava Group

A great way to encourage each other while we're not physically at the club is using Strava.

GRC to close at 8pm today

In response to the most recent announcements by state and federal governments the Committee has decided to close the club from 8pm today (Monday 23 March).  This decision was not made lightly, and we realise the impact of this on members, but feel it is the only responsible decision we can make in the current situation.

COVID-19 Update 20 March 2020 - New Restrictions

We have updated the club’s precautionary measures in response to the COVID-19 community health threat. You may have seen the direction from Rowing NSW to registered rowers (provided below). In line with their recommendations, and considering our circumstances, we request all members to take the following precautions until further notice.

GRC Coronavirus Update - 16 March 2020

While we don’t wish to be alarmist about the coronavirus, and we are not proposing to close the Club at this stage, you need to know that the Club equipment (including gym equipment, change rooms, oars and boats) is used by many members and we can't guarantee in any way that our members have not had contact with, or don’t have, COVID-19.
