FIS Alpine Helmet Rules
FIS Alpine Helmet Rules
FIS Helmet rules
New helmet rules were introduced for FIS age racers in November 2014.
The National Alpine Committee (NAC) requires all U16, U14 & U12 athletes to use FIS compliant helmets for the 2016 season.
If you are a FIS athlete participating in FIS competitions it’s a requirement that you wear a FIS approved helmet.
FCRC encourages all new helmet purchases for U12 and up to be FIS specification helmets.
To determine if your helmet is a FIS compliant Alpine helmet, for GS, SG and DH, it must display the sticker at the right.
