Volunteer Roster

Volunteer Roster

CCSKC Members all participate in a Volunteer Roster system each calendar year.

All members are required to assist the club by fulfilling roles required to conduct a race meeting - these include scales marshall, grid marshall, quad riders, canteen helpers and other roles as they are needed.

Each member must complete a volunteer day in order to be eligible for any Club Championship prizes and awards.

You can also nominate any person to fulfill your allocated duty / meeting date, as long as they are over the required minimum age, be physically able to fulfill the requirements, act professionally, and carry out the full tasks.

If you are unable to fulfill your required day / duty, it is up to you to work with other members of the club to find a suitable swap / alternative date.

Members performing their duty on race day will receive a free meal and drinks as required.

The Club Secretary will maintain a master Duty Roster which will be posted in the Club Facebook pages. Changes can only be made to the Roster if they are agreed to by all parties.

If the race meeting you were nominated for does not take place (due to weather or other circumstances), your Roster duty day will be transferred to another appropriate date.

All members Rostered to perform a duty, must be at the track no later than 8.30am race days (Sundays), and must report to the race office to complete all necessary paperwork. Please remember to wear closed in shoes and to bring a hat if out in the sun.

Written description and instructions are available from the Race Office for each job, plus the Clerk of Course will ensure that you are familiar with the requirements for each role at the Officials Briefing prior to the commencement of racing.
