Celebrating Our Volunteers at the Buderim Community Volunteer Awards 2025

Calisthenics Buderim is proud to have been recognised at this year’s Buderim Community Volunteer Awards, an annual celebration hosted by the Buderim War Memorial Community Association (BWMCA) with support from Brent Mickelberg MP. We were humbled to be a Buderim Community Group of the Year nominee, a reflection of the hard work, passion, and dedication that our members and volunteers contribute to our club and the wider community every day.

Several of our wonderful volunteers were also nominated in the Sports Volunteer of the Year category, including:

We are especially proud to share that our head coach, Emily Sunderland, was awarded the title of 2025 Buderim Sports Volunteer of the Year. This honour recognises Emily’s tireless commitment to coaching, mentoring, and supporting our dancers, as well as her broader contribution to the local sporting community.

While awards highlight individual achievements, they also shine a light on the incredible team of volunteers who work behind the scenes to keep Calisthenics Buderim thriving. We are grateful for every one of our volunteers, your contributions extend far beyond the spotlight and ensure our dancers, families, and community continue to flourish.
