AU Sport Membership
When joining the Adelaide University Swimming Club, you automatically become an AUSport member. The AUSport membership fee for Adelaide University students will be $11 (including GST) after 8 March 2024. The AUSport membership fee will be added automatically to our AUSwimming Club fee when you proceed to purchase for membership. Here is a list of AUSport fees according to category:
- Students enrolled at the University of Adelaide: $11 (Currently free until 8 March 2024)
- University of Adelaide Staff and Exchange Students: $71.50
- Alumni of the University of Adelaide: $71.50
- Juniors (Anyone under 18, not enrolled at the University of Adelaide): $38.50
- General public: $93.50
- Supporters (Non-swimmers but wish to maintain involvement, not enrolled at the University of Adelaide): $22
All AU Sport memberships are valid until 31 January of the following year.
Adelaide University Swimming Club Membership
Adelaide University Swimming Club membership is $50 for the whole year for everyone. This covers the cost of lane hire at the pool and all equipment maintenance. If you are not sure about purchasing membership as of yet, you can purchase a 'Trial/Temporary' membership for $20 which will last 30 days from the start of any month. For example if you buy your temporary membership on 1 March 2024, it will last you until 30 March 2024, afterwhich you would need to upgrade to the full membership.
If you cannot find a membership that would fit in your category, please send us an email to enquire. Membership expires on 31 January in the following year of purchase, in sync with AUSport Membership (e.g. if you bought an AUSC 2024 Membership, this means that this membership, as well as the AUSport membership, will expire on 31 January 2025). Please be aware that when you proceed to purchase a membership, the AUSport fee and the AUSC fee will be added together automatically. For example, if you are a student and purchasing a 2024 membership after 8 March 2024, the total fee paid will be $11 + $50 = $61.
PLEASE NOTE: Only select "Returning member" if you have been given an AU Sport Member ID. You will need this in order to register for membership. If you have not registered for an AU Sport club previously or do not know your ID, please select new member.
Entry fees
After purchasing membership, you can come to any of our sessions at a cost of $6 per session (or $5 per session if you purchase entry to every session of the semester). This covers the entry fee to the pool - you do not need to pay the pool staff at the door. You can purchase your entry on this page:
