 Minimum experience requirement

We require that you are able to swim freestyle for 5 x 100m in a 2-minute time cycle with rest within the 2 minutes for each 100m. Unfortunately, we are unable to teach swimming to beginners. How do we work?

We will hold coached sessions several times a week, at the pool in Pridham Hall, on the City West campus of Adelaide University and at the new Adelaide Aquatic Centre. Our club also holds regular social events outside the pool, so members can get to know their fellow swimmers and students. What do you get?

Membership each year comes with an Adelaide University Swimming Club black silicone cap, subsidised entry fees into the pool during official club training sessions, invites to special events, and access to volunteers with a wealth of experience and accreditation to help you with your swimming technique. You also get to swim with other university students in an active and supportive social environment.
