Our activities for 2026 start from 26 February 2026 to 29 January 2027. There will be a coach at each session and they will have a structured training program throughout the session. This program may incorporate the use of a pull buoy and kickboard. We encourage you to bring your own if you have them, but you're welcome to use some of the club's equipment at Pridham Hall. All sessions are optional, which means every member can choose to join ANY of them without problems. We cater for swimmers who know the basic techniques of freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke and can swim 5 x 100m freestyle in a 2-minute time cycle. For a more detailed up-to-date schedule of our training schedule, click on this link: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/auswimming/classes/list/
Note: Monday sessions start from 23 March onwards!
During the off-peak periods (mid-semester break, mid-year break, study without teaching weeks, exams, end of year breaks), there will be no sessions at the Adelaide Aquatic Centre:
Adelaide University has a pool on campus! The swimming pool is at the City West campus at Pridham Hall and it is a 25m indoor heated pool. The sessions on Thursday mornings will be at the 50m indoor heated pool at Adelaide Aquatic Centre. Arriving at the pool is your own responsibility - but we can try to help where we can. Please contact us on social media if you need help. We will add every member on a Facebook group chat where we post regular updates. Entry to the Pridham Hall pool is free for members ONLY during official club training sessions, but members must pay the cost for entry at Adelaide Aquatic Centre.
After purchasing membership, members will need to pay a monthly coaching fee of $35 or $7 per session. The monthly coaching fee must be paid before the 1st of every month. This can be purchased here: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/auswimming/classes/list/
Come to each session with your bathers, goggles, a towel and a water bottle.
For all sessions at Pridham Hall: All Adelaide University Swimming Club members get free entry into the pool during official club training sessions. Members will be issued a free 12-month membership pass upon presenting proof of their club membership payment at the reception counter in Pridham Hall. This pass can be used to check in at reception prior to official club training sessions. Club members are required to check in at reception before entering the pool on each visit. If a club member wishes to use the pool outside of official training times, they will need to purchase a pool membership (not AUSwimming club membership!) or pay a casual entry fee. Fees for pool membership are listed here: https://www.aufitnesshub.com.au/swimming-pool
For all sessions at Adelaide Aquatic Centre: Members must pay their entry fee to reception at Adelaide Aquatic Centre. The entry fee per person is $7.80 for concession - https://adelaideaquaticcentre.com.au/visit/prices
We offer a Come and Try session for people interested in joining the club. You can purchase this without a membership, and come to a single training session to see how we work.

Note that we ask that every member and every person who comes for the Come & Try swimming session has:
The ability to swim 5 x 100m freestyle in a 2-minute time cycle, with rest within each 2-minute block for 100m.
Our club is now affiliated with Masters Swimming South Australia. If you are already a Masters member, you can join our club on the Masters website part of Swim Central. You need to register for a Swim Central account if you don't already have one:

Our club does not hold swimming lessons as our main activity. We specifically hold training sessions for proficient swimmers who are interested in social swimming for fitness, or competitive swimming. If you are interested in swimming lessons, here is a link to some info on lessons which are organised by Adelaide University Sport and Fitness:
