AORAKI OPEN RACE DAY INFORMATION🐉

We’re looking forward to bringing everyone together for the Aoraki Open! It’s a great opportunity to get out on the water, enjoy some competitive racing, and build momentum as we head further into the season.

Please ensure your teams are organised and ready for an early start. Here’s everything you need to know for race day.

RACE DISTANCES:

·      1300m Turns

·      420m Turns

·      200m Sprints

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:

·       7:30am – Teams arrive and begin setting up

·       8:15am – All teams to be set up and ready

·       8:30am – Sweeps and Managers Meeting

·       8:45am – First race called

·       9:00am – Racing begins

·       3:00pm – Prizegiving

IMPORTANT TEAM REMINDER

Please ensure all paddlers are active and have completed their re-registration through RevSportbefore race day.

We’ll be using the iPads for boat loading as a run-through for the South Island Championships, so it’s important that everyone is registered and ready to go. This will give us an opportunity to practise the process and ensure everything runs smoothly at the South Islands.
